Myrtle Beach is a fun family vacation spot, but that doesn't mean we don't have culture, too! This summer, come explore the Frida Kahlo exhibit at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum!
The new, temporary World of Frida exhibit features 114 unique works of art by 94 artists from around the world. These pieces are in a variety of medias, but are all connected in that they take their inspiration from Frida Kahlo! Organized by the Bedford Gallery at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA, this excellent exhibit has been traveling around the country since 2018. The Myrtle Beach Art Museum is thrilled to be one of the final venues selected to host the exhibition.
Along with the art pieces on display, the art museum will offer Frida-themed souvenirs in the gift shop and a series of special Frida-themed programs. Whether you're a huge Frida fan or merely curious about her work, you'll enjoy these programs!
You can visit this exhibit at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum now through September 23, 2022. Can't make it in person? Check out the virtual museum: https://myrtlebeachartmuseum.org/virtual-museum/
