New Things to Do
Surfworks: South Carolina's first man-made surf park, Surfworks, is coming soon to Myrtle Beach! This park will feature a surfing lagoon, an amphitheater, a surf school, a restaurant, and a brewery.
Stars and Strikes Getaway-n-Play: There are lots of fun activities to enjoy at Myrtle Beach's newest family entertainment complex. Come enjoy augmented reality bowling experience, an arcade, a multi-story laser tag arena, axe throwing, and more.
Surfside Beach Pier: Following its destruction in 2016, the iconic Surfside Beach Pier will reopen in spring of 2023 with improved safety, complete with a restaurant and vendor space.
Cherry Grove Pier: The Cherry Grove Fishing Pier fell during Hurricane Ian in 2022 and is being reconstructed as we speak. It is expected to reopen this May!
Ripley's Aquarium: The beloved Ripley's Aquarium is expanding this year. In the late spring, they're adding a new Sloth Valley exhibit, where guests will be able to come face-to-face with two-toed sloths!
